As part of our CPD Provider registration and commitment to transparent, ethical practice, the following policies are publicly available for reference. Appeals Policy
At Alcohol Reset Coach, we are committed to transparency and fairness in all assessments and certification decisions. If a learner wishes to appeal an outcome related to a CPD activity—such as quiz results, assessment feedback, or certification—they must submit their appeal in writing within 14 days of receiving the decision.
All appeals will be reviewed within 10 working days by an independent member of the team not involved in the original assessment. The decision of the review will be final. We will ensure all learners are treated fairly and have access to reasonable adjustments if required.
Complaints Policy
We aim to provide a high-quality learning experience for all participants. If a learner is dissatisfied with any aspect of our courses or services, they are encouraged to submit a written complaint via email to support@alcoholresetcoach.com.
We will acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days and aim to respond with a resolution within 10 working days. Where appropriate, complaints will be investigated independently of the course instructor. We are committed to resolving issues quickly, fairly, and respectfully.
Course Content Review Policy
Our course content is reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects up-to-date behavioural science, neuroscience, and practical strategies. A full internal review is undertaken every 12 months, or sooner if significant changes in research, legislation, or user feedback warrant it.
We actively seek learner feedback through surveys, forms, and course completion reflections to guide improvements. Any suggested updates are discussed and implemented based on evidence, relevance, and learner needs.
Data Protection Policy
Alcohol Reset Coach complies fully with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We only collect and store personal data necessary for delivering course access, issuing certificates, and supporting learners.
Data is stored securely and never shared with third parties without explicit consent. Learners can request access to their data, ask for corrections, or request deletion at any time by contacting data@alcoholresetcoach.com.

We aim to make all training accessible, inclusive, and relevant to a diverse audience. Reasonable adjustments are made wherever possible to support individual needs and create a welcoming learning environment.
Malpractice Policy
Any form of misconduct—such as falsifying learning outcomes, plagiarising submissions, or misrepresenting identity—will be treated seriously. Learners suspected of malpractice will be contacted and given the opportunity to respond.
We reserve the right to revoke course access or certification where malpractice is confirmed. All decisions are taken with fairness and integrity, and appeals can be submitted via our Appeals Policy.
Reasonable Adjustments Policy
Alcohol Reset Coach is committed to providing equal access to all learners. Where a learner has a disability or health condition, we will make reasonable adjustments to ensure they can fully participate in CPD activities.
This may include extended access, alternative formats, or tailored support. Learners should contact support@alcoholresetcoach.com in advance to request specific adjustments.
Safeguarding Learners Policy
While we do not currently deliver services to children or vulnerable adults, we remain committed to upholding the safety and well-being of all our learners. Any disclosures or concerns will be taken seriously and managed in line with safeguarding best practices.
If we expand our services to include vulnerable groups, a named safeguarding lead will be appointed and additional procedures will be implemented.
Evaluation Form Policy
All courses include post-completion feedback forms designed to evaluate learner satisfaction, perceived progress, and areas for improvement. Feedback is reviewed monthly and used to inform future updates and course development.
We aim to continuously improve based on what our learners tell us they value, and where they need more support.
Reflective Practice Form
Reflection is built into all ARC courses to help learners identify personal growth, risks, and strategies that work for them. Our forms and lesson prompts encourage learners to recognise patterns, commit to changes, and improve motivation.
Reflective forms are optional but highly recommended, and learners are encouraged to revisit them throughout their journey.
Public Liability Insurance Policy
As a fully digital provider, Alcohol Reset Coach does not currently deliver in-person training. Should any public-facing sessions be hosted in future, appropriate public liability insurance will be obtained in accordance with legal requirements.
Responsible Marketing Procedure
Our marketing practices are honest, respectful, and free from manipulation. We do not use scare tactics, shame-based messaging, or misleading claims. All testimonials and statistics are either real or clearly identified as illustrative.
We respect our audience’s autonomy and aim to build long-term trust through education and transparency, not pressure or hype.
